Looking for accessible, mapped data?

The Library currently has access to PolicyMap for a one-month trial. Faculty, staff, and students will have access to the database until May 30, 2022. Policy map is a cloud-based, U.S. national data and mapping tool and analytics platform with multidisciplinary applications for college faculty, researchers and students. Undergraduate and graduate schools use it in their curriculum and research related to social sciences, public health, urban studies, real estate and housing analysis, community and economic developments, public administration, policy and political science, education, business, economics, statistics, geography, and more. Users can leverage thousands of U.S. indicators to perform demographic and socioeconomic analysis, from a neighborhood census block group in many cases, up to a national level, as well as create custom regions, for their research and studies.

To access the collection navigate to the DATABASE tab on the Library's website homepage at, and selecting the Search by Subject and A to Z link. The database link is located on the far right side of the page under New/Trial Databases. Or you can simply click the link:
