Jackie is the Dean of the Library and provides the leadership and vision to position the library as a student-ready library.
Tyler manages the Dean’s office, providing clerical and administrative support to all the library departments.

Reference, Archives & Special Collections Librarian
Asher is the Library’s Archivist. He collects, organizes, and preserves the university’s records, digital collections, and other documents of interest. He also teaches library instruction classes, assists students at the Research Help Desk, and is the current Library Program Area Chair.

E-Learning & Instruction Librarian - Distance Learning & Extended Campus Coordinator; Instruction Program Coordinator; Library Program Area Chair
Linda is the instruction and distance learning librarian coordinator. She not only teaches information literacy skills to students on campus, but also she teaches at our extended campus sites and online.
Instruction and Research Librarian
Renée divides her time between instruction and reference/research services. She also serves as an “embedded” librarian for a variety of courses and disciplines.
Joanne is responsible for maintaining the library’s electronic and print journal collection as well as maintaining the online databases. She also does some cataloging and assists in the library’s archives.

Public Services Librarian
Connie supervises the Public Services department and coordinates public events for the library. She is also our primary liaison with the broader Fitchburg community.

Kelly is responsible for the day-to-day operation of Public Services. She manages the physical library space and circulation department, overseeing staff and student workers, interlibrary loans, and reserves.

Jodie is part of the Public Services team, responsible for processing interlibrary loans, physical and electronic library reserves, stacks maintenance, and circulation.

Sarah is the nighttime circulation supervisor in the Public Services department. Sarah is responsible for stacks maintenance, helps process interlibrary loans, assists patrons at the circulation desk, and supervises our student workers.

Reference & Research Services Librarian
Sherry can most often be found at the Research Help Desk on the first floor of the library. When she is not helping students find books and articles, Sherry is researching new books to add to our collection. Sherry also enjoys writing fantasy novels and gaming.
Matt provides research and technology assistance to all library patrons at the Research Help Desk. He helps with finding articles, books, and other materials for research through in person, email, phone, or chat.

Technical Services Librarian
Nancy leads the Technical Services team, making sure all print and electronic materials are available for use. Nancy also manages the software for the library catalog and discovery layer, troubleshooting any issues in both.
Library Assistant - Cataloging
Trish is responsible for cataloging new books and materials for the library, assigning call numbers, subject headings, etc. before entering them into our system. She keeps up with cataloging changes and updates and re-catalogs the collection as necessary.
Library Assistant, Technical Services
Kristin is responsible for placing and tracking orders for new books and materials for the library. She also receives the new books and materials when they come in and prepares them for processing.
